Hey navigator, you've fucked up again
I think we're in trouble and the bugs are closing in
Operator, just give me a sign
The sky has gone malignant and I fear that I'm losing touch
I wanna get out, I wanna believe that everything I see here is just an illusion
The signal has crossed the axis, there's no return
The lights are blinking red
And now I know the ship is going down forever
The garden is nice
I kick back and think about our destruction
I close my eyes
The sun is warm on my skin and I'm smoking
From up the street, I hear a tune that takes me back to a troubled youth
That was better than today where I say...
Stop, then run again, along the alley shadows
My fingers fumble for that thing, that thing I need, oh fuck, I lost it
Mayday, mayday
I'm starting to descend
I didn't do it good enough
They said I wasn't good enough
Now I'm in the shit again
The worms are closing in on me
They want to get inside and fortify my indoctrination
Doctor, doctor
There's something in my head
Please get it out, please take it out
It wants to fucking see me die forever
The garden is nice
I kick back and think about our destruction
I close my eyes
The sun is warm on my skin and I'm smoking
From up the street, I hear a tune that takes me back to a troubled youth
That was better than today where I say die
Is this even real?
The weeds and vines that now cover the place where I once contemplated the possibility of happiness
Put me in a body bag
Fill it up with lye
Put me in a body bag
Leave me here to die
The garden is nice
I kick back and think about our destruction
I close my eyes
The sun is warm on my skin and I'm smoking
From up the street, I hear a tune that takes me back to a troubled youth
That was better than today where I say fucking die
This is ATD firing on all cylinders creatively. Hardcore, punk jumping shredders, anthemic, gang chant-y street punk--this album is all muscle. 'A Total Disappointment' is what a 20 minute powder keg sounds like. thewreckedneck
This is one of the best albums to come out last year. Rarely does a modern day hardcore band write something this catchy and solid all the way through. 10/10 robolitious
On their debut record, the London hardcore upstarts cross-up mosh-ready fare with melancholic ambient passages, weeping guitars, and virtuosic vocal harmonies, but its romantic veneer is much more complicated than it seems. Bandcamp Album of the Day Jan 30, 2019
