Operation: incognito
On the front porch and back behind the shed
No move was mistaken
Hell libido, moistened egos
Touching fronts that blended to nowhere
But outside the bedroom...
White lightning, light striking
White lightning
Still frightening until it comes
Then it’s gone forever
Infiltration, bog mosquitos, poison oak
And all the while we laughed like gas tanks exploding
Smooth destruction, red-light pastures
Our hearts soared the night we never said a word like ‘tomorrow’
White lightning, light striking
White lightning
Still frightening until it comes
Then it’s gone forever
Out the window, down the old pine
No second best ever got me gone so fast
As if by miracle...
White lightning, light striking
White lightning
Still frightening until it comes
Then it’s gone forever

This is ATD firing on all cylinders creatively. Hardcore, punk jumping shredders, anthemic, gang chant-y street punk--this album is all muscle. 'A Total Disappointment' is what a 20 minute powder keg sounds like. thewreckedneck

This is one of the best albums to come out last year. Rarely does a modern day hardcore band write something this catchy and solid all the way through. 10/10 robolitious
On their debut record, the London hardcore upstarts cross-up mosh-ready fare with melancholic ambient passages, weeping guitars, and virtuosic vocal harmonies, but its romantic veneer is much more complicated than it seems. Bandcamp Album of the Day Jan 30, 2019
